"Twenty six years ago I was snow skiing in Colorado with an Australian friend who was living in the United States. We were sharing accommodation and one morning I noticed he was shaving with an aerosol shaving gel. No shaving gels were being marketed in Australia in 1983 and I was curious to know what a shaving gel was and how it performed compared to creams. It was a fantastic product. Why weren't the large corporations bringing their shaving gels to Australia? Maybe we weren't important enough!

So, I resolved to launch the first shave gel in Australia, in a tube rather than an aerosol, which back then, contained harmful hydrocarbons. Fast Shave Gel 100 gram was the result; the worlds first lathering shave gel in a tube.
